I enrolled in this program so I could follow my passion for writing acquiring a job in a field of work I love, which is video games! It gave me the confidence to try again at making my own games and following my heart, which has been extremely tough to do. I've felt a lot of pressure from my family to take on more 'practical' jobs, but this is where I see myself in a career. I'm still glad I got their support.
It was nice to see instructors and industry professionals from multiple different categories. It gave me an insight into things I might want to try.
I would tell my friend that it was worth taking the courses because it taught me things that I didn't know about and how I should pay attention to all my surroundings to improve and educate myself more
Honestly everything, there is so much valuable information and tips that will help me out pursuing this career in the future.
It has given me a basic understanding of all aspects of the industry, and the process. It has taught me terminology used within the business that I was unaware of before. Overall, confident in what to expect.
I would even pay for a friend to take it if I believed was talented and passionate, because this is an essential course to take.
If currently stuck, and not sure where to take the step-up from, this is a great source of inspiration.
I would highly recommend taking the course and putting the time in to soak up every lesson.
